Deepavali Festivity Financial Aid for SJK (T) Ladang Jeram, Kuantan

In celebration of the upcoming Deepavali festival, Kuantan Port proudly organised a heartwarming community investment initiative, extending financial support to the students of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Ladang Jeram, Kuantan.

This small but vibrant school with just 50 students, holds significance for us as the only Tamil school in Kuantan Port’s vicinity. Through this initiative, we provided cash vouchers to each student, easing the financial burden on their families and helping them prepare for the festivities with joy and comfort.

Ms. D. Sakunthala, the school’s headmistress, warmly welcomed Kuantan Port representatives and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the significant impact this contribution would have on the students and their families. The Chief Financial Officer of Kuantan Port, Mr. Chan Weng Yew, also emphasised the importance of such initiatives in fostering stronger community bonds and delivering meaningful, positive change to the lives of those we serve.

At Kuantan Port, we believe that true progress is rooted in uplifting the communities around us. This initiative marks a step forward in our ongoing journey to give back, and we are excited to embark on many more projects that bring hope, joy, and opportunity to those in need.

Together, we celebrate not just a festival but the spirit of unity, generosity, and community.

Visit by YAB Menteri Besar of Pahang

The management of Kuantan Port Authority and Kuantan Port Consortium welcomed YAB Menteri Besar of Pahang, Dato’ Sri Diraja Haji Wan Rosdy bin Wan Ismail, and his esteemed delegation to Kuantan Port.

The key highlight of the visit was an insightful port tour using a tugboat, where YAB Menteri Besar of Pahang and his delegates experienced the port’s dynamic operations firsthand. This immersive experience provided a deeper understanding of Kuantan Port’s critical role as a logistics gateway, linking the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia to global trade.

Kuantan Port remains committed to strengthening its strategic partnerships with the Pahang State Government and continues to be a driving force behind the state’s economic growth.
