Kuantan Port community initiative #ProjectOrangPort continues, and this time around in seven different locations in Mukim Sungai Karang and Mukim Beserah.
Printer Donation for PDPR (ODL) Students
PDPR has become a normal circumstance for students ever since the outbreak of COVID-19. However, not all students are fortunate enough to have the complete equipment to perform PDPR at home.
Aware of the difficulties faced by students, Kuantan Port has come forward to donate 20 printers to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Keluarga Istimewa (PKKI) Pahang. The printer will be distributed to students in need under the PKKI recipient list.
Launch of #ProjekOrangPort
Kelab Kebajikan & Rekreasi Kuantan Port (KKRKPC) has launched a campaign called ProjekOrangPort in July 2021.
ProjekOrangPort is the Kuantan Port initiative through KKRKPC to give a short-term boost to the underserved surrounding community by providing food supplies and cash donations. ProjekOrangPort is a fundraising project, and it promotes the spirit of sharing and giving back to the community as we invite our staff and port users to donate.
ProjekOrangPort managed to collect RM73,048.00 after four days of launching, in which the collection went five times beyond our initial target.
CSR Kuantan Port Fire & Rescue at Surau Kampung Selamat
Thank you to the Kuantan Port Fire & Rescue team for helping us to clean the thick mud at the neighbouring village surau (mini mosque), Kampung Selamat. The surau was hit by the mud flood, and their storeroom was badly damaged due to the unfortunate incident. It took us almost 3 hours to clean the place thoroughly, and we had to use 15 tonnes of water to get rid of the mud.
