One of the best ways to end the year for Kuantan Port is to donate electrical appliances to Pertubuhan Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti Sri Nilam Cahaya Balok. This community centre is governed by The Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development for people with different abilities to learn and master essential life skills.
Kuantan Port donated 50 blankets to the frontliners and patients at Pusat Kuarantin & Rawatan Covid-19 (PKRC), Indera Mahkota.
Kuantan Port launched a special charity drive for the girls at Baitul Husna called #thescarvesproject to collect good condition scarves to give to them. To our surprise, this project has gone viral beyond the Kuantan Port community, and we have received scarves from outside Pahang.
Kuantan Port visited underprivileged families from Kampung Selamat located just next to our port and that makes them our closest neighbour. Each family received two ‘kindness bags’ containing groceries such as rice, flour, sugar, biscuits, cooking oil, among others.
